Walmart and Best Buy List Xenoblade for the Wii U

Retailers Best Buy and Walmart have both listed Xenoblade for the Wii U, which you can see an example of HERE. So, does this mean that Xenoblade is being remade for the Wii U in HD? The chances are pretty slim since the game came out less than a year ago in North America.

It is much more likely that these listings reflect the announcement of Monolith Soft's first Wii U game, which has been code named "X." As the game does not have a name yet, it is likely that these retailers are just using the Xenoblade name as a place holder.

  1. Interesting, works for me either way. I would like the chance to get Xenoblade again but this could also lead to more info about X, which I'm interested in as well.

  2. As much as I would like to see Xenoblade remade in HD, I think it is still to early for North America to get that kind of a remake. I am certain that this is the new "X" game from Monolith.
