New System Update for the Wii U

If you haven't done so already, it's time to update your Wii U. Just yesterday, Nintendo released a new system update for the system. It's important to note that this isn't the system update that Nintendo previously talked about during their Nintendo Direct. Thus, it does not include all of the additional features and improved system speed that Nintendo mentioned was on the way. This latest update is being called 2.1.3 U.

The big update that will include new features and improved system speed is set to be released in April. For now, this latest update "improves the system's overall reliability." In short, this update only affects things under the hood, and you probably won't notice any differences. However, the new update is required before you can get on the Wii U eShop.
